Kaylee was born and raised in Branford, CT with a unique menagerie including two cats, 12 hermit crabs and fish! Ever since she was a toddler, Kaylee’s family knew she would do something with animals. From an early age she wanted to be a veterinarian, and once she learned what a technician was, she honed in on it as a career. Kaylee holds a BS in Veterinary Technology from Mount Ida College where she received hands-on experience with the animals that lived on campus, as well as exposure to six internships. She then went on to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Prior to joining the team at our hospital, Kaylee spent time at Ridgehill Animal Hospital, Canyon Creek Animal Clinic and East Shore Veterinary Services. Her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is teaching other technicians and assistants as well as communicating with clients about their pets’ care.
Kaylee describes herself as a dog person, but she loves cats too! She currently shares her home with three dogs and a cat, as well as her four year old daughter, Madison. When she isn’t working, she loves to hike — and her guilty pleasure is Dairy Queen!
